Fix the common causes first
When Stacher is not downloading
A waiting job does not automatically mean Stacher is broken. First update Stacher and yt-dlp, test one public URL, confirm the output folder is writable, and inspect the job log. Those four checks separate application problems from source-site changes, authentication requirements and local network issues.
Slow downloads can be caused by the source server, throttling, network congestion, VPN routing, concurrent fragments or post-processing. A job that appears slow during merging may already have finished downloading. Check the status text and disk activity before repeatedly restarting it.
